This month, we had the opportunity to connect with Mendy Green from MSPGeek, who walked through some of the nuances of improving our Quoter + HaloPSA integration with us.
We appreciate everyone in the Channel who brings us feedback; you’re not only driving your own business but also taking the time to work with us to improve Quoter so that everyone in the community can benefit. Bravo!
So, here’s a big shout-out to Mendy and thanks to all of those MSPs who provided feedback through this iterative process of making Quoter work really well with HaloPSA.
Looking ahead, we’ve got big projects in the works for our development team this fall, ranging from integrating Quoter into the ScalePad ecosystem, improving our Reporting interface and profitability reporting features, and expanding filter and view options for our new Quotes List.
Now, on to this month’s releases!
Format the content sections of your quotes, friction-free
Since moving away from CKEditor to Froala as the base of our WYSIWYG editor, we’ve been working to ensure our Quoter Partners love how easy it is to create beautiful, informative, and professional quotes and proposals in Quoter.
While you can still manage your content using CKEditor, we encourage you to take advantage of what this modern editor has to offer! Our knowledge base articles can walk you through the configuration settings to try it out, and our Partner Success team is always here if you need an extra hand.
Most recently, we’ve improved upon the usability and functionality available through the editor for image formatting, pasting content from different sources such as Word or Google Docs, and delivering more flexibility for handling page breaks for PDF generation.

Push your Quoter + HaloPSA workflow even further
We’re now pushing a range of additional fields for our Quoter + HaloPSA users, particularly for products, to help minimize repeat data entry and human error for the records in your HaloPSA account.
There are also several new options in Integrations Settings to help you customize how data pushes and pulls between Quoter and HaloPSA. Check out the extensive list of updates here.
Ensure oversight of new line items and bundles
With this addition to our Manager Approvals functionality, you can add a rule to require manager approval of new ad hoc line items or bundles. It’s just one more way to ensure quote oversight when delegating the process to other team members.
If Manager Approvals is something you’re curious about but are not currently taking advantage of, reach out to our Success Team for a personalized tutorial.
Speed up Amazon procurement with ASIN number referenced on your quotes
For Amazon Business account holders (it’s free if you’re not one!), your procurement or ordering process just got an upgrade in speed and convenience.
Via our Quoter + Amazon integration, we now push the ASIN (Amazon’s unique identifier), to Quoter’s Procurement Pick List. With your quotes referencing ASIN numbers, you’ll have a much easier time identifying those products in your Amazon Business account for procurement.
