The first dedicated onboarding digital tool for firms to collect client and entity details has been built and launched in Albury-Wodonga by Seamlss.
The world-first app connects with Xero Practice Manager (XPM) and allows firms to collect IDs to verify a client’s identity.
Co-founder Clayton Wood said Seamlss was leading the way as the first cloud app to automate the data collection process and allow firms to push their client’s data to XPM.
Mr Wood said it was critical for firms to automate and streamline the process by removing current unsecure emails, apps or manual, paper-based systems.
“Seamlss empowers organisations to collect their client’s details, business entities details, e- sign engagement letters and verify the client’s identity in the cloud effortlessly,” he said.
A lover of technology, Mr Wood was inspired to create Seamlss from his experience as an accountant and firm owner of Business Edge Advisors.
“Leveraging available technology and identifying inefficiencies of how my firm (like most firms) onboard new clients was why we created Seamlss,” he said.
“We’re transforming the process to make it easy for firms and all their clients.”
Seamlss allows firms to focus on delivering better service standards by onboarding clients before they arrive at the door or screen for better meetings, by reducing the need to key data in, collecting clients identification, and sign engagement letters.
Organisations can add clients to verify their client, add them to XPM, and importantly, add them to the ATO portal before a meeting so the team can focus on the client’s position and needs.
“Tax season is upon us, and firms are using Seamlss to onboard clients and collect Individual Tax Return data before their client meetings,” Mr Wood said.
“Seamlss allows firms to speed up the processing time, as well as enable better engagement and outcomes for clients.”
