Overview

  • Easily reconnect/reauthenticate your integration when your customers are getting an error in paying Xero invoices through the Square “Pay Now” button.
  • For those using the Square + Xero integration.

How to reconnect your Xero account

  1. Sign in to the Amaka dashboard and log in using your Square credentials.
  2. Go to the Connected Accounts page.
  3. Expand the options menu by clicking ••• next to the Xero account that you wish to reconnect.
  4. Click Reconnect and follow the prompts to complete the re-authentication of your account.
  5. Go to the Integrations page and toggle on the integration to activate it.

If restoring your current integration from the above steps does not work, refer to the steps below on how to reauthenticate your Xero account and create a new integration.

  1. Sign in to the Amaka dashboard and log in using your Square credentials.
  2. Go to the Connected Accounts page.
  3. Click the ••• option next to your Xero account and click Revoke Access. Do the same for your Square account.
  4. Click New integration at the top right.
  5. Click Connect new account then choose the organization that you want to connect to and hit Allow permissions.
  6. Follow the wizard and click Save + Continue to finish the setup. You can also refer to the Square + Xero setup guide to complete the setup.
