Deutsche Bank has been named “Asia’s Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion” and “India’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility” by Euromoney, underscoring its commitment to building a workplace where people thrive and communities flourish.

The bank also won several awards for leadership in Investment Banking across Asia from Euromoney.

These accolades reflect Deutsche Bank’s people-powered purpose, and its belief that business success and community well-being go hand in hand.

Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion

Deutsche Bank has been recognised by Euromoney as "Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion," showcasing its dedication to creating an environment that embraces dialogue and diverse views where everyone is treated fairly.

Deutsche Bank has demonstrated a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion through several high-impact initiatives. India's Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility

Euromoney also named Deutsche Bank "India's Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility," recognising its commitment to education and environmental initiatives. The bank's CSR programmes have made a significant impact, touching the lives of over 316,000 people in 2024 alone.

“At our core, we believe social responsibility is about shaping a better tomorrow—today. In India, we’ve made education and environmental initiatives cornerstones of that commitment, empowering individuals to grow both professionally and personally,” said Kaushik Shaparia, CEO of India and Emerging Asia.

He added that more than 40% of employees in India stepped forward to volunteer their time and talent last year. “That’s the power of purpose in action.”

Community impact in action:

Key corporate responsibility initiatives include:

  • Supporting women in STEM: In partnership with the Smile Foundation, over 700 young women are being supported through a four-year STEM education program, including mentorship from Deutsche Bank employees.
  • Empowering women entrepreneurs: Collaborating with SEWA, the bank has helped 4,000+ women build sustainable livelihoods—like the Kamla Café chain in Ahmedabad, now run by 2,400 women.
  • Enabling People with Disabilities: Through Sarthak Educational Trust, 500+ people with disabilities have been trained in English, digital, and life skills—75% have secured employment.
  • Promoting climate-smart agriculture: A partnership with the Centre for MicroFinance supports 3,000 women farmers, boosting crop yields and irrigation efficiency by 80%.
Providing educational opportunities and resources to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, including supporting Mumbai's first salon run by the Transgender community.
